Procore fits when…
A general contractor or owner that runs projects in Procore and wants inspections, observations and incidents inside the same project record as drawings, RFIs and schedule.
Migna fits when…
A subcontractor or self-performing contractor that fills in the GC's Procore forms on site but still has to run its own OSHA logs, training, permits, SDS and audits as an employer.
Side by side
We do not publish Procore’s prices or make claims about their features we cannot stand behind. Where a row says “check” or “ask them”, that is the honest answer: confirm it with them for your use case. Corrections are welcome at info@mignasafetysolutions.com.
| Migna | Procore | |
|---|---|---|
| Pricing | Published on our site: $249, $549 or $949 a month per company, set by how many people are on your roster: anyone whose training and records you track, office staff included. Logins are free and unlimited, and crew never need one. | Ask them for a quote, and whether the safety tools can be bought on their own or only as part of the wider platform. |
| Implementation | $0 implementation and free data migration on every tier. No setup fee, no renewal increase. | Ask them what implementation involves and what it costs. |
| Crew logins | Crews never get logins. They report hazards, sign in to a site, complete inductions, acknowledge policies and take short training courses by scanning a QR code. | Field users are Procore users on the project. Collaborators from other companies can be invited to a project. |
| Offline in the field | Incident reports, observations, site audits and equipment inspections save on the phone and sync when it finds signal. Reports work on the no-login QR page too. | The mobile app supports offline work for many tools. Check the safety forms you use. |
| OSHA 300 / 300A / 301 | Recordable incidents populate the Form 300, 300A and 301 and print on the official forms. Privacy-case handling is built in. | Incidents and observations are project records. As a subcontractor, your OSHA 300 log is an employer record and stays your responsibility regardless of what the GC's Procore holds. |
| Data isolation | Single-tenant: your own database and your own deployment. Nobody else's records live alongside yours. | Ask them how your data is hosted and whether your records share a database with other customers’. |
| Integrations | No ready-made connectors yet. A read-only REST API with revocable API keys and signed webhooks on the Company tier let your own systems pull records and hear about new ones, every module exports to CSV and the whole account exports to JSON in one click. | A large integration marketplace and an API. This is a genuine reason to keep safety inside Procore if you are the GC. |
| Trying it | A live demo loaded with sample data, open in your browser with no signup. No free tier. | Demo by sales appointment. |
| What it covers | Incidents and OSHA logs with return-to-work tracking, audits, observations, corrective actions, training with scheduled sessions, reminders, QR courses and quizzes, permits, SDS and Tier II screening, site sign-in and muster, pre-task plans, subcontractor prequalification and onboarding, custom forms, risk and ergonomics assessments, management of change, equipment inspections, industrial hygiene, versioned policies with re-signing, weather alerts, comment threads with @mentions on records, custom reports you build, save and share, and an optional AI assistant that drafts corrective actions and observations for you to confirm. | Project management first: drawings, RFIs, submittals, schedule, financials, with quality and safety alongside. |
| Support | You get a person who knows the software. Setup is done with you, not handed to you. | Enterprise support and account management. |
| Certifications | No SOC 2 or ISO 27001 yet and no third-party penetration test yet. We say so on our security page. Two-factor authentication is available to every account and can be required company-wide. | Publishes enterprise security and compliance information. Ask them directly for current certifications. |
Choose Procore if
- You are the general contractor and already run the project in Procore; one system for the whole project beats two.
- Your safety records must live next to drawings, RFIs and daily logs.
- You need integrations or an API, or your GC clients require submissions through Procore.
Choose Migna if
- You are a subcontractor: the GC's Procore holds the GC's records, and you still need your own OSHA logs, training, permits and SDS as an employer.
- You want the price on the page and nothing to pay for implementation.
- Your crews should report hazards and sign in by QR code, without a Procore login.
- You want your records exportable and in your own database when the project ends.
What Migna does not do yet
No native integrations yet: Migna sits alongside a GC’s system rather than talking to it. Your own systems can read your records through our read-only REST API and hear about changes through signed webhooks, and everything you enter exports to CSV and JSON. No SOC 2 or ISO 27001 certification and no third-party penetration test to date. The full list, and what we do have, is on our security page. If any of these decides it for you, we would rather you knew now.
See it before you talk to anyone.
