A HammerTech alternative for contractors who aren't a GC.

HammerTech is built around a general contractor running many projects and many subcontractors through one enterprise system. Migna is built for the contractor itself: one company, its own crews, its own records, at a price on the page.

HammerTech fits when…

A general contractor or large builder that needs project-level inductions and permits across a portfolio, and has a team to run an enterprise rollout.

Migna fits when…

A specialty or general contractor with 10 to 250 people on the roster that wants a complete safety program — incidents, OSHA logs, audits, training, permits, SDS — in one system it owns outright.

Side by side

We do not publish HammerTech’s prices or make claims about their features we cannot stand behind. Where a row says “check” or “ask them”, that is the honest answer: confirm it with them for your use case. Corrections are welcome at info@mignasafetysolutions.com.

PricingPublished on our site: $249, $549 or $949 a month per company, set by how many people are on your roster: anyone whose training and records you track, office staff included. Logins are free and unlimited, and crew never need one.Quote-only. HammerTech does not publish prices; expect a proposal sized to your projects and volume.
Implementation$0 implementation and free data migration on every tier. No setup fee, no renewal increase.Ask them what implementation involves, how long it takes and what it costs before you compare.
Crew loginsCrews never get logins. They report hazards, sign in to a site, complete inductions, acknowledge policies and take short training courses by scanning a QR code.Workers and subcontractor staff are onboarded into the platform, which suits a GC that needs every worker on site accounted for.
Offline in the fieldIncident reports, observations, site audits and equipment inspections save on the phone and sync when it finds signal. Reports work on the no-login QR page too.Mobile apps with offline support for field work. Check the specific forms you rely on.
OSHA 300 / 300A / 301Recordable incidents populate the Form 300, 300A and 301 and print on the official forms. Privacy-case handling is built in.Incident management is included. Confirm how the OSHA 300A summary is produced for your entity, as a GC system is organised by project rather than by employer.
Data isolationSingle-tenant: your own database and your own deployment. Nobody else's records live alongside yours.Ask them how your data is hosted and whether your records share a database with other customers’.
IntegrationsNo ready-made connectors yet. A read-only REST API with revocable API keys and signed webhooks on the Company tier let your own systems pull records and hear about new ones, every module exports to CSV and the whole account exports to JSON in one click.Integrations with construction management platforms and a mature API. If you already run Procore or Autodesk, this matters.
Trying itA live demo loaded with sample data, open in your browser with no signup. No free tier.Demo by sales appointment.

SupportYou get a person who knows the software. Setup is done with you, not handed to you.Enterprise onboarding and account management.
CertificationsNo SOC 2 or ISO 27001 yet and no third-party penetration test yet. We say so on our security page. Two-factor authentication is available to every account and can be required company-wide.Publishes security and compliance information for enterprise procurement. Ask them directly for current certifications.

Choose HammerTech if

  • You are a general contractor running a portfolio of projects and need enterprise-scale control of every subcontractor and worker across all of them.
  • You already run Procore or Autodesk and need safety records flowing into them.
  • Procurement requires a vendor with enterprise certifications and a large support organisation.

Choose Migna if

  • You are the contractor, not the GC, and you want your own records in your own database rather than a row in a GC's project.
  • You want to know the price before the sales call and pay nothing for implementation.
  • Your crews should never need an app account or a password.
  • You want to see the software working, on sample data, before you talk to anyone.

What Migna does not do yet

No native integrations yet: Migna sits alongside a GC’s system rather than talking to it. Your own systems can read your records through our read-only REST API and hear about changes through signed webhooks, and everything you enter exports to CSV and JSON. No SOC 2 or ISO 27001 certification and no third-party penetration test to date. The full list, and what we do have, is on our security page. If any of these decides it for you, we would rather you knew now.

See it before you talk to anyone.
